Great Khali and Jinder Mahal are the two Indians whose names can be seen on WWE Board.But guess what….Here is an addition in the names and that too of a Women .She is “KAVITA DEVI” from Haryana and she has made all the Indians proud by becoming first Indian Women representing our country.
She is a power lifter from Haryana and has been mentored by Great Khali.
WWE(World Wrestling Entertainment) has announced that for the Mae Young Classic which is the first wrestling championship for women the South Asian gold medalist has been selected. And this amazing lady is really going to make us feel proud of her again.

“I AM HONOURED TO BE THE FIRST INDIAN WOMAN TO COMPETE IN WWE’S FIRST EVER WOMEN’S TOURNAMENT. I HOPE TO USE THIS PLATFORM TO INSPIRE OTHER INDIAN WOMEN WITH MY PERFORMANCE AND MAKE INDIA PROUD.”
She is really a true inspiration for all Indian women .If you are focused towards your goal you will surely going to be successful and that too all over the world.
Kavita Devi has played at International level .She has participated in WWE Dubai tryout in April and now soon going to participate in the first wrestling championship for the Mae Young Classic and will compete other top 31 top female champions from all over the world. This championship is going to held on 13th and 14th of July at Full Sail Live in Orlando,Florida
Like other successful people this lady has also gone through so many difficulties and you really need to know about those.
Kavita, has a modest background but still gone through struggles to become successful.
She belongs from a small village of Haryana called Malvi. Haryana is the second worst state of India in terms of child sex-ratio .Here girls are not allowed to study after 10th. Besides all this , this girl has reached to the peak of success and nothing can be more inspirational than this.
She has completed her schooling from Julana’s Girls Senior Secondary School. Further ,she completed her B.A. degree .She says that her elder brother Sandeep Dalal is the one who encouraged her a lot for completing her studies and becoming a weightlifter.
Further ,she decided to join SSB , where she was given the post of constable in the sports quota and was retired as a sub inspector.
She was trained in wrestling by the Great Khali at the Continental Wrestling Entertainment Academy which is owned by the WWE Champion Great Khali in Jalandhar ,Punjab,India.
Besides all this,she not only took responsibility of her sporting career but also of her personal life. She married Gaurav Tomar ,a Volleyball player . It was the love marriage .Her husband also encouraged her and he also gave up his own career for supporting her wife.Now ,they have a 5 years old son ,Abhijeet.
So, lets allow other women also to become an inspiration and show up their hidden talent.
